Forward Joe Robinson is in the Fylde side bidding to extended a 100 per cent start to the season in National League One on Saturday against Blackheath.

And the back rower insists there is ‘massive’ improvement to come.

He said: “We came in the changing-rooms after the Wharfedale game and everyone was disappointed with the performance and that’s a good thing, I suppose, if we come in disappointed and we’ve won and taken maximum points from two games.

“We can’t complain - it’s just that we want to improve our form.

“We are working hard and we can see it coming, but it is going to take another couple of games to put our marker on this league.”

Fylde draft in Ben Rath on the wing to replace Warren Spragg for Saturday’s trip to the capital.

Skipper Evan Stewart is sidelined through an ankle injury, so Paul Arnold switches to number eight and Roger Banks locks the scrum.

Ryan De La Harpe returns at scrum-half

Tom Lavelle and Tom Burtonwood comes in at tigh-thead prop and hooker for Peter Altham & Mark Rylance as part of coach Mark Nelson’s rotation policy.

In Stewart’s absence, Scott Barrow skippers the side.
