The build-up to the 2015-16 campaign begins at Fylde rugby union club on Tuesday night

Players report back for pre-season training at the Woodlands.

And for the first time in his long career Paul Arnold can’t wait to get started.

He said: “The coaches are very excited about this pre-season - the only time I’ve been excited about pre-season, ever!

“We want to put our stamp on training routines and methods and are looking forward to working with the established and new players, and younger guys who turn up.”

Fylde have organised pre-season friendlies at Sedgley Tigers (August 8) and at home to Yorkshire Carnegie (August 15) and Rotherham Titans (August 22).

The first match in National League One is at home to Loughborough Students on September 5.
