Frank Varey was up against Conner Moran, also of Border City, in the 52kg open class , using his experience to control the bout throughout for another unanimous verdict.

And a second win for Sharpstyle’s Jack Dadak over Jay Warden from the Jimmy Egan club in Wythenshawe completed a clean sweep for the club on Blackpool’s Bagot Street.

Sharpstyle’s Levi Barnes, Thomas Varey, and Nelson Birchall had already been crowned champions because their opponents withdrew.

The day was topped off for some of the Sharpstyle team by a meeting with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.
