Fleetwood Swimming Club returned with a massive medal haul from the North Lancashire Championships.

Members ofthe club, based at Fleetwood Pool on The Esplanade, earned two golds, five silvers and seven bronze medals.

The gold medal winners were won by Finlay Jones-Wright in the 100m freestyle and 200m breaststroke for 12-year-olds.

Silvers went to Leeza McHugh (400m individaul medley, 12), Jake Jackson (50m and 100m breaststoke, 12) and Finlay Jones -Wright (50m and 100m backstroke),

Bronze madals went to Joseph Chappell (two for freestyle, Jones-Wright for butterfly, Shona McGreevy (two for breaststroke and IM), Amelia Woods (freestyle) and Jack Parkinson (butterfly).

Other team members were Patrick Jones-Wright, Hannah Roe, Lily Pearson, Lily Boswell, Brett Newcombe, Joe Chappell, Bailey Crowley, Sam Hall, Luke Jones, Ryan McGreevy, David Fletcher, Kate Lucas, Sophia Singleton, Ellie Brown, Bradley McWilliams and Shaun McWilliams,

New members are welcome for trials on Mondays (7pm), Wednesdays (6pm) or Fridays (7pm). There are also sessions at Poulton Pool on Tuesdays at 6pm.
