Lancashire have signed New Zealand cricket ace Mitchell McClenaghan for their Twenty20 campaign,
The left-arm seam bowler is currently playing for the Black Caps in the Champions Trophy.
He will join Australian Simon Katich in the Red Rose line-up for the short form of the game.
On joining the Old Trafford club, McClenaghan enthused: “Lancashire are a club with a great history and tradition, and I hope to be able to help the club to T20 success this season.”
Cricket director Mike Watkinson said he was delighted to get the New Zealander on board.
He added: “Mitch is a relative newcomer to international cricket but has made rapid progress to become a very influential member of the New Zealand one day side.”
