Hodgson serves up brilliant badminton season in Poulton

Hodgson Academy in Poulton is celebrating a superb season on the badminton courts.

So successful was the Moorland Road school at this sport that AllStars was delighted to pay them a visit for a photoshoot with their outstanding players.

The Under-16 girls won the Lancashire Cup, the Wyre and Fylde League, the County Championship and the local championships, as well as finishing third in the North West Championships.

The U16 boys also won the Wyre and Fylde League and local championships, while reaching the Lancashire Cup semi-finals and finishing fifth in the County Championships.

The U14 girls won the Wyre and Fylde League and local championships, while finishing runners-up in the Lancashire Cup and third in the County Championships.

The U14 boys won their local league and championship and were runners-up in the County Championships and Lancashire Cup.

And last but definitely not least, the Year 7 boys and girls won the Wyre and Fylde League.
