County golf title up for grabs

The best women golfers in Lancashire converge on Bolton Golf Club on Sunday for the 2017 county championship

Georgia Coughlin, bidding for county honours

Among the field will be Royal Lytham's Beth Garton, who won the title in 2010.

She will be joined in the field by St Annes Old Links duo Georgia Coughlin and Frances Lilley.

Courtney Crolla and Grace Worth represent Blackpool North Shore, while Clarissa Brear competes for Fleetwood GC.

After 18 holes of strokeplay, the top 16 golfers will then compete for the matchplay stage of the championship whilst the next best 16 will qualify for the matchplay stage of the Plate.
