Fylde forced into whole swathe of changes

Fylde RFC were forced to make major, later alterations to their line-up for Saturday's clash at Cambridge in National League One.

In all, 15 members of the first tyeam squad are missing.

Jake Pope, George Nott and Sam Bedlow have been re-called by their parent club Sale Sharks to join the squad for Friday night’s Anglo-Welsh Cup match at Bristol.

Skipper Chris Briers and prop Sam Simpson have joined Oli Brennand and Adam Lewis on the injured list.

Evan Stewart and Alex Loney are unavailable because of duties at the school where they work - winger James Bailey is also unavailable on a day when Warren Spragg, Simon Griffitish and Paul Arnold return.

Jack Harrison, Matt Garrod and George Blackwell are on loan at Preston Grasshoppers, while Scott Rawlings is on loan at Sale FC.

Anthony Bingham is with the Jamaican seven-a-side squad.
