The club have already brought in six new players – strikers Ashley Nadesan and Aaron Hollway, defenders Ashley Eastham and Cian Bolger and goalkeepers Alex Cairns and Chris Neal – but Pressley says the club’s summer recruitment drive will not end there.

The former Scotland defender says that they are in no rush to bolster their squad with the opening day of the League One campaign scheduled for the weekend of August 6-7.

“We are trying to pursue some players but there is not a lot available at this moment in time.”
