Uwe Rosler's reaction from Fleetwood 1 MK Dons 4

Dons’ on-loan Wigan winger Ryan Colclough scored a hat-trick as he netted in the ninth, 68th and 90th minutes.

Colclough opened the scoring as he smashed the ball through a crowd of bodies and into the bottom corner and the Dons made it 2-0 in the 61st minute as Colclough steamed into the box from the left, he was robbed by Town full-back Conor McLaughlin but the loose ball fell to Dean Bowditch who knocked the ball past Jimmy Ryan who tripped him in the box.

The referee pointed to the spot and Bowditch fired the ball past Neal.

It was 3-0 seven minutes later as Colclough once again excelled on the left as he galloped into the box and with just Ryan and Chris Neal to beat rocketed the ball under Neal.

Town rallied and got a goal back a minute later as Bobby Grant’s effort flew in after David Martin’s dreadful attempt to palm the ball away.

But the Dons went on to add another in the 90th minute as Martyn Woolford tripped George Baldock in the box and Colclough stepped up to fire home the spot-kick and complete his hat-trick.

And Rosler says all the goals were down to individual errors as Town failed to bounce back from last weekend’s 2-1 defeat at Rochdale.

He said: “I was more hurt last week against Rochdale to be fair because the performance today did not reflect the score in the end.

“Every goal was an individual mistake but for me we got a reality check today because I think overall we played a good game.

“Today we played a team of Championship quality and they had that little bit more quality.

“Every little mistake we made today they punished, especially the left winger.

“In general in controlled position it was probably one of our best games against one of the best teams in the league.

“When you see our fixture list after this week coming we will have played all of the top teams.

“For me today there was a massive improvement compared to Rochdale.”

And Rosler says striker Chris Long and midfielder Kyle Dempsey who both went off injured will be assessed on Monday.

He said: “I just told my players we need to do the same when we go to Bradford.

“Obviously we have a doubt about Kyle Dempsey and Chris Long, that is probably the most disappointing thing losing two key players, maybe, they will be assessed on Monday.

“I can’t tell you today exactly what they have.

“I am not a medical expert and they have scans.”
