Town snap up Sheffield United midfielder on loan

Fleetwood Town have signed Sheffield United midfielder Stefan Scougall on a short-term emergency loan deal.

The 23-year-old has signed a one month loan deal until April 16 2016.

Attacking midfielder Scougall started his career in the youth teams at Hibernian and Dunfermline Athletic, before moving to Livingston in 2010.

The Edinburgh born player moved to Bramall Lane for an undisclosed fee on a three and a half year deal in 2014.

He has only featured 16 times for Town’s League One rivals the Bladed this term but should be in contention for a place in Town boss Steven Pressley’s squad for tomorrow’s game against Barnsley at Highbury.
