Town boss enjoys Euro comp

Fleetwood boss Mellon has hailed Euro 2012 one of the best international tournament tournaments he has seen.

The Town boss said: “Games have been open, and we’ve seen some terrific players on view and some fantastic goals. It’s been real good stuff, which is positive for the game.

“I thought England put in a very good performance against France. Rather than thinking they can just go out and beat everyone, they were set up to compete in a different way than previously, which is refreshing. It will give a better chance of progressing.
