Blackpool boss tips Lumley to shine

The Frenchman is recalled to Pool's first XI following this week's departure of Joe Lumley, who was recalled early from his loan spell by parent club QPR.

Mafoumbi had played two straight games for the Seasiders at the turn of the year, only to find himself dropped back down to the bench following Lumley's arrival.

Pool are elsewhere unchanged from last week's 3-0 win at Gillingham.

Gary Bowyer's men go into today’s game looking to clinch their fifth straight win, a run they haven’t enjoyed since Simon Grayson’s ‘perfect 10’ back in 2007.

Last week’s comprehensive victory at Gillingham was the first time they had enjoyed four wins on the bounce since the Premier League promotion winning season in 2010.

Shrewsbury, meanwhile, have drifted away from the top two in recent weeks but are already assured of a play-off finish.

That has allowed them the opportunity to rest some of their first-team players, which has coincided with them picking up just one win from their last five games.

They again make six changes today.

Paul Hurst's side suffered disappointment earlier this month when they were defeated by Lincoln City in the final of the Checkatrade Trophy.
