Nottingham and Marc Bola don't even make the squad, having featured against Barnsley on Tuesday, while Jimmy Ryan and Ryan McLaughlin miss out again through injury.

Pool will go in search of their first league win of the season against a Shrewsbury side that have been decimated since last season's third-placed finish.

Paul Hurst has left to take charge of Ipswich Town while a number of their key players have also departed.

The Shrews, now managed by John Askey, have lost all three of their games so far this season.
