Rosler was touted as 1/8 odds on favourite for the empty role at Carrow Road by Sky Bet earlier this week.

But the German - who has guided Town from relegation battlers to the top three since he took over just days before the start of the season - says he has another year left on his contract and that he is committed to Town with seven games of the campaign to go.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s crunch League One clash against Swindon he said: “The club is not approached by anybody, I am not approached by anybody - it is fake news.

“Players, staff, coaches, everybody committed and looking forward to the last of the season.

“I have another year contract, anything else is speculation and that is the last time I comment on anything on that.”
