Rosler is making everybody wait

He's been making everyone wait all week for Town's new points target but the Cod Army will have to be patient before head coach Uwe Rosler reveals the new figure.

After hitting the 50-point mark to secure survival, Rosler set his players a new target to accumulate their highest League One points tally.

That was achieved last weekend with a 2-0 victory away to Graham Alexander’s Scunthorpe – the manager who had led Town to their previous top total of 63.

Town are second in the table and on an 18-game unbeaten run ahead of tomorrow’s clash with fourth-placed Bolton Wanderers.

And Rosler has promised to reveal the new target after that game, having had little opportunity to discuss it with his players this week.

He explained: “On Tuesday we had a group playing at Huddersfield and a group training here.

“Then on Thursday we had a lot of time in the meeting room, speaking about Bolton and what we want to do, so I didn’t feel it was the right time.

“We will have another meeting before the game and get the thoughts of the players. I’m sure they will match up with our thoughts and I will tell you on Saturday.”

Amari’i Bell, Nathan Pond, Wes Burns, Jimmy Ryan and Martyn Woolford are all doubts for tomorrow’s game.
