The defender linked up with Town at the start of the pre-season, but just weeks after he joined manager Steven Pressley resigned.

Duckworth did not feature in that EFL Cup clash but made his debut off the bench in a right-wing role in the 1-1 opening-day draw at Northampton last Saturday.

And the German-born full-back says Rosler has brought a better vibe to the club since his arrival.

Duckworth said: “It is a change for everyone at short notice. We did pre-season with one manager, then we have started the season with another one.

“You have to adapt and I think we have adapted quite well in a short space of time.

“The new manager has been great. He has just brought a better vibe to the club.

“The lads look a lot happier under this manager. He has brought a new style of play in and has brought his own things in. It has been good and I’m looking forward to the season.”
