Town's skipper limped off in the second half of Saturday's 0-0 draw with Shrewsbury.

And boss Steven Pressley has revealed the centre half may miss the majority of the remainder of the season with a thigh problem.

Fleetwood are desperately short of bodies at the back with Joe Davis also sidelined.

The former Leicester man hasn't trained this week.

The same can be said for midfielders Jimmy Ryan and Eggert Jonsson although there is an outside chance Antoni Sarcevic could play some part in Saturday's trip to Port Vale.

Up front David Henen has returned to Everton for a likely four weeks with a hamstring problem.

Fleetwood are fourth from bottom of League One facing their first relegation since promotion from non-league in 2012.
