Blackpool, who before this season began will have been one of those sides aiming to finish in the top seven, continue to be one of the most inconsistent sides in the division.

The Seasiders had a disappointing run of results in October, securing just one win from their six games. They drew two and lost the other three, meaning they sit in 15th place in the league and just three points above the relegation zone.

This month, Blackpool face the two sides that currently occupy the bottom two positions in the league - sandwiched in between tough games against Notts County and Mansfield.

However, before they set their sights on rising up the League Two table, Gary Bowyer's men will have two cup ties to contest in quick succession.

Here's who awaits them in November:

Sunday, November 6 - Kidderminster Harriers (FA Cup, home)

Blackpool begin the month with a bit of a banana skin as they come up against in-form National League North side Kidderminster. Gary Bowyer will be looking for a comfortable passage to the second round - any win will do, although a defeat or even a draw and a replay will look embarrassing (especially with the game's goals and highlights being shown on the BBC red button).

Tuesday, November 8 - Everton U23 (EFL Trophy, away)

Bowyer's men will have little time to rest before they face a developmental Everton side in the final group game in the EFL Trophy. Bowyer is a known critic of the competition, so it might not be the worst thing in the world if they were to lose and head out of the competition. Expect changes.

Saturday, November 12 - Notts County (League Two, home)

The Tangerines return to league action with a tough home game against Notts County, who are currently 5th in the league. Blackpool appear to up their game for matches against the league's better sides, as seen with the 4-2 win against Doncaster in their last game at home. A similar performance will be needed to keep John Sheridan's men at bay.

Saturday, November 19 - Leyton Orient (League Two, away)

Blackpool travel to the capital to take on a side currently slumped in the relegation zone. A club mirred by its own internal strife, this game could provide a vital opportunity to pick up some much-needed points on the road. Lose this and they'll be drawn into a relegation scrap of their own.

Tuesday, November 22 - Mansfield (League Two, away)

A trip to Nottinghamshire during on a Tuesday night will see Blackpool come up against a Mansfield side currently sat just one point ahead of them. The Stafs have drawn seven of their 15 league games and a draw for Bowyer's men might not be the worst result at Field Mill.

Saturday, November 26 - Newport (League Two, home)

The Seasiders finish the month with a home game against bottom-of-the-table Newport in a must-win game. However, former Preston boss Graham Wwestley has recently taken over and the game might not be as easy as it would have been a month or so ago.
