Police reveal how many tickets Blackpool have sold for Wembley
Blackpool's ticket sales for their League Two Wembley play-off final against Exeter City have passed the 5,000 mark.
That's according to the Seasiders Police Twitter account, which posted that as of first thing this morning 5,289 tickets had been sold in the Blackpool end.
The Seasiders take on the Grecians at the national stadium on Sunday, with the game kicking off at 3pm.
The last time Blackpool were at Wembley, when the played West Ham in the Championship play-off final in 2012, more than 30,000 fans made the trip from the Fylde coast.
In 2010, when Ian Holloway's side clinched promotion to the Premier League with a 3-2 win over Cardiff City, around 37,000 Blackpool fans were in attendance.
But the fans' boycott means that the vast majority of the club's fanbase won't be at the game as they continue their protests against the Oyston family.
