Mark Howard - 7

Made a string of fine saves to mark his second debut at the club with a clean sheet. Did superbly to claw Michael Harriman’s long-distance effort away from the top corner.

Ollie Turton - 6

Delivered a trademark display at right back, although he will have been disappointed after being caught out of position in the second half. Thankfully Howard came to his rescue.

Ben Heneghan - 7

Initially struggled to get to grips with the sheer physicality of Adebayo Akinfenwa but improved steadily as the game wore on. Deserved the clean sheet.

Paudie O’Connor - 7

Probably Blackpool’s best player on the park. Showed immense hunger to win every spare ball and delivered some well-timed tackles. Not fazed at all by Wycombe’s threat in the box.

Joe Bunney - 6

Kept things nice and tight at the back without ever getting too involved in the attacking play. A solid debut.

Jay Spearing - 6

Calm and composed in possession as always but most of his work involved mucking in and helping out with the back four to cope with Wycombe’s onslaught.

Chris Taylor - 7

Came closest for Blackpool with a curling free kick that cannoned off the post. Performed well but was brought off early into the second half when on a booking.

Harry Pritchard - 7

Initially quiet in the first half but improved measurably in the second half. Got himself into some good positions and went close on a couple of occasions. Has potential.

Michael Nottingham - 6

Played out on the right wing but suffered concussion following a nasty-looking aerial challenge and was forced to be brought off at half time.

Nathan Delfouneso - 7

Blackpool’s most dangerous player going forward. Skinned his marker time and time again down the left and delivered some threatening balls into the Wycombe box.

Joe Dodoo - 6

Looked a little isolated up top by himself, a position that doesn’t seem to suit someone of his stature. But his pace will certainly cause opposition defences plenty of problems on the break.

Looked dangerous over on the right-hand side. Looked a threat cutting inside, with Wycombe struggling to pick him up.

For Taylor, 62

Struggled to have much of an impact on the game. Kept the ball well but will need to do more if he wants to be in contention for a first-team start.

Armand Gnanduillet - 6

For Dodoo, 72

Brought on to provide a more physical threat up front for Blackpool but he received little service and didn’t have much opportunity to make an impact.
