Let down by his defence for both goals, but will be disappointed not to have done better for Portsmouth’s second.

Showed good attacking intent and whipped in a number of dangerous crosses that should have been taken advantage of.

Shrugged off the ball too easily by Rowan Curtis for Portsmouth’s second. Also involved in the defensive mix-up for the first.

Paudie O’Connor - 6

Missed the initial header that led to Portsmouth’s opener but otherwise delivered a strong and composed performance.

Marc Bola - 6

Deployed in an unfamiliar wing role which saw him have little effect on the game. Better off at left back.

Jay Spearing - 5

Lack of communication with Ben Heneghan led to Portsmouth’s first goal. Cut a frustrated figure.

Tried his luck with a late free kick which was a yard or two off target. Had a quieter game compared to Wycombe last week.

Harry Pritchard - 6

Provided good set-piece delivery and tested the Pompey keeper with a piledriver from range. Otherwise fairly quiet.

Delivered the cross for Joe Dodoo’s early chance and went close with a couple of well-hit efforts from range.

Nathan Delfouneso - 5

Failed to find a teammate with a number of right-wing crosses. Glanced a header wide from a corner.
