First Fleetwood fan from Bulgaria delighted to support a 'real' club

Town have stated their aim to have all fans who hold Onward Cards, which have replaced season tickets at the club, back at matches for the start of that month.

Onward Card holders are being asked to assist in this planning by providing details of their ‘social bubble’ to help the club make the necessary arrangements for social-distancing.

The supporters concerned are required to complete an online form listing fellow Onward Card holders within their social bubble from a maximum of two households.

The idea is to enable supporters in a ‘bubble’ to sit together, though they may be temporarily moved from their regular seat to meet social-distancing requirements.

Any Onward Card holder who does not submit a survey or is not listed in a social bubble submitted by a fellow supporter will be allocated a seat in isolation.

The survey can be found on the club website and should be completed by next Monday.

Fleetwood’s competitive season begins tomorrow with their EFL Trophy group opener at Carlisle United (7pm).

The first game at Highbury will be the Carabao Cup first-round tie against Wigan on Saturday.

Town completed their pre-season campaign with a 4-0 win over non-league Darlington at Poolfoot Farm, Paddy Madden scoring a hat-trick.

It was the third victory in five pre-season outings for Joey Barton’s side and returned them to winning ways after defeats by Port Vale and Blackburn Rovers. Town’s first friendly three weeks ago brought a 4-2 win over tomorrow’s hosts Carlisle.
