Next Fleetwood Town Manager: Favourites emerge as odds offered on ex-Blackpool duo, Roy Keane, Alan Pardew and Gus Poyet

Joe Barton is no longer head coach of Fleetwood Town...

Barton has left the club with immediate effect, the club revealed in a short statement yesterday.

The former Newcastle United and Manchester City midfielder had been in charge of Town for two-and-a-half seasons, last season leading them into the League One play-offs where they were defeated by Wycombe Wanderers in the semi-final.

The club's statement on his departure simply announced his departure and wished him well, the entire statement consisting of two short sentences.

Now, talk has turned towards who will fill the void left at Highbury Stadium by Barton's departure.

Here, we take a look at what the bookies are saying about the vacant Fleetwood Town managers job and the names that have entered the betting.
