Minute's silence planned to mark victims of London terror attack

A minute's silence will be held prior to kick-off on Saturday in memory of those who lost their lives in the tragic attacks in London.

The tribute will take place before Blackpool's game against Hartlepool at Bloomfield Road.

The EFL said: "As a mark of respect to those who have lost their lives or were injured in this week’s tragic attacks in London, EFL clubs will hold a minute’s silence.

"The silence will take place before all Sky Bet EFL fixtures taking place this weekend, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March.

"Football will unite to pay tribute to the victims of Wednesday’s attacks and the emergency services who acted bravely and decisively in the aftermath."

Among the four people to have died in the attack was police officer and Charlton Athletic season ticket holder Keith Palmer.
