Jonson Clarke-Harris scores the second of his three goals
Here's how Pool's players rated:
Possibly the only player to come out with any credit. Made two superb saves but badly let down by those in front of him. Saw quite a bit of the ball down the flanks but crosses werent up to scratch. Needs to be played at centre back. Ran ragged by Bristol Rovers strikers and showed up for his lack of pace. Also committed some needless fouls. His worst display in a Blackpool shirt. Struggled to do the basics and culpable for at least two of the goals. Went close with a low shot but not as adventurous going forward as Marc Bola. Brought off at half time as Pool changed their shape. One of his poorer displays in the middle of the park before looking more at home when moved to right wing back. Uncharacteristically sloppy in possession but his deliveries from corners did present a few chances. Welcome return to the side but should have done much better when he blazed over the bar from 10 yards out. Missed a gilt-edged chance to put Pool in front early on before Bristol Rovers scored the first of their four goals. Had a 10-minute spell when he looked a constant threat but other than that failed to make an impact. Looked disinterested at times and somehow managed to miss a free header when Pool were only two goals down. For Anderton, 46'
Put himself about on his return from injury as he came on at the break as Pool changed their system. For Pritchard, 66'
Squandered a chance to restore some credibility but the damage had already been done by then. For Thompson, 72'
Came within a whisker of pulling a goal back but his deflected effort narrowly missed the bottom corner.
