Dealt with a couple of awkward pass backs on the bobbly pitch but nothing he could have done about Accringtons goal.
Cross for Accringtons goal came down his side but he was badly let down by Antony Evans in front of him.

Solid as a rock and back to his best after Saturdays display. Dominant in the air and made a couple of crucial blocks
Produced a much-improved display, adopting a safety-first approach after struggling so much at Bristol Rovers.
Solid and reliable display against the side he spent a loan spell with earlier this season. Gave little away.
Clattered into a couple of challenges to set the tone and won it for Pool from the penalty spot late on.
Bagged his first goal for the club with a calm finish to give Pool the lead and provided some teasing crosses.
Failure to track back opened up space for Accringtons goal and at the other end he flattered to deceive.
Did well to hook the ball back into the box for the opener and won the penalty that led to Pool's winner.
Provided the lay-off for Matty Virtues opener, but picked up a needless booking after going down too easily in the box.
Won some priceless defensive headers and used his power to good effect at the other end. Denied by a good save.
