Marc Bola got Blackpool back into it with a first-time volley on his weak foot
Here's how Pool's players rated:
Made an outstanding fingertip save from Graham Careys free kick to keep the score at 2-0 before Pools late revival. Defensively more solid than in recent weeks and was a willing runner up and down the flank. Long throws were a threat. A little nervy defending long balls early on but improved as the game wore on and made some superb last-ditch blocks. Rescued a late point for Pool with his stoppage time overhead kick. Not many defenders could produce a finish like that at any level. Always a threat down the left-hand flank and it was his well-taken volley on his weak foot that got Pool back into it. Uncharacteristically off the pace and wasteful in possession. Caught on the ball a couple of times in dangerous areas. Remains a threat on the edge of the opposition box but was unable to repeat last weeks heroics at Bradford. Didnt show himself for the ball enough and could have done better with a couple of early chances. Bit of an off-day for the winger. Showed intent early on but failed to make an impact on the game and struggled to get involved. Too many attacks broke down when the winger dithered on the ball when in promising crossing positions. Quiet day at the office for the striker but he was still a constant nuisance and had a couple of half-chances. Showed more of an intent to attack and brought energy and some much-needed positivity to the midfield. His introduction saw Blackpool go two up top but the forward rarely saw much of the ball and had little to deal with. Brought some fresh legs to proceedings in the final stages, but probably ought to have been brought on earlier.
