Liverpool’s title victory was sealed a month ago when Chelsea defeated chief contenders Manchester City.

Now with two games to play the Reds are finally set to be awarded the Premier League trophy for the first time in history and a first top-flight trophy in 30 years.

An open top bus parade around the city remains off the cards for now as the UK continues to ease its way out of a coronavirus-induced lockdown.

A trophy ceremony in front of an empty Anfield will take place however – here’s everything you need to know about the title celebrations.

When will Liverpool lift the Premier League trophy?

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson will lift the Premier League trophy following the club’s Gameweek 37 fixture against Chelsea.

The fixture takes place at 8.15pm tonight (July 22) and is expected to conclude at around 10.30pm.

Where is the ceremony taking place?

A temporary structure has been built into the Kop End at the Reds’ home ground Anfield.

Jordan Henderson, who suffered a season-ending injury against Brighton, will be presented with the trophy in the Kop End.

Where can I watch the events unfold?

Sky Sports are hosting Liverpool and Chelsea’s penultimate fixtures of the season, with the Main Event channel set to host.

The game and ceremony will also be hosted on the channel’s free-to-air platform Pick TV.

Sky Pick is channel 159 on Sky and 144 on Freeview.

Fans can also tune in online and watch the match and ceremony via Now TV.
