Blackpool FC Community Trust are delighted to be delivering a new programme; CSI Recovery Football.

CSI (Challenge through Sport Initiative) Recovery Football is delivered with Lancashire Sport.

The programme is aimed at improving the lifestyles of adults, who are in drug and alcohol recovery, through the participation of regular exercise.

Trust Inclusion Officer, Mike Lee, said: “CSI Recovery Football is a fantastic programme for adults who are in recovery, to get healthy and boost their fitness by playing football.”

It is delivered every Thursday at Stanley Park, from 1pm-2pm, and is free of charge.

The Trust will also be offering a free pick up service for participants from Winston House, Horizon, Church Street at 12.45pm.

Darren Wraxton attended the first CSI Recovery Football session last week and said: “I really enjoyed the first session and I love playing football, so it’s a win-win for me. I’ve also made some new friends which is brilliant.”
