Hankin heads to Fylde
AFC Fylde have signed midfielder Dave Hankin from Blue Square North champions Chester for an undisclosed fee.
The attacking midfielder, 27, will link up with former Chester colleagues Bradley Barnes and Jimmy McCarthy at Kellamergh Park.
Trainee teacher Hankin was transfer listed last month after telling Chester he would not be able to commit to their Conference Premier campaign.
He joined the club on a two-year deal from Kidderminster Harriers last summer. Hankin is Fylde boss Dave Challinor’s second summer signing after Caspar Hughes moved from Nantwich.
