Fylde coast amateur football: Perfect 10 for Poulton and newcomers Fleetwood win among Alliance elite
The win, their first away from home this season, elevates Poulton to eighth place in the premier division table.
Elsewhere, Blackpool Wren Rovers failed to win for the first time this season as they slipped to a narrow 2-1 defeat to Burscough Richmond.

Hide AdDespite the result, Wren Rovers remain level on points with early pacesetters Euxton Villa, who were beaten 2-1 by Thornton Cleveleys. TC now sit fourth with a game in hand.
Lytham Town were also in impressive form, thrashing Slyne with Hest 6-1 to move up to fifth, meaning three of Fylde coast sides currently sit in the top five.
In Division One, Wyre Villa claimed a second straight victory to elevate themselves to fifth. They won 2-0 at Crooklands Casuals.
In Division Two, Freckleton have suspended all football activity following the club’s announcement that a player had tested positive for Covid-19. It meant their trip to Storeys was postponed

Hide AdTwo newly promoted clubs met in the premier div ision of the Bathroom Solutions Blackpool and Fylde Sunday Alliance as Bloomfield Brewhouse FC took on FC Fleetwood.
It was Fleetwood who started the quicker and led 2-1 at half-time.
Bloomfield would rue missed chances as FC Fleetwood went on to win 4-2 thanks to goals by Jamie Fairs, Tom Masterson and a brace from Danny Wallbank. Scorers for Bloomfield were Liam Orr and James Hughes.
The big surprise in the top flight was Clarence’s 2-0 victory over Blackpool South courtesy of a Joey Hallam Brace.

Hide AdThe premier league also saw big away wins for FC Albion, 6-2 at Exceptional Kitchens, and Layton Seniors 5-2 against Harris and Co. Sunday’s other game ended in a 4-4 draw between Queens and Phoenix Car Care.
There were goals galore in division one as Unity Rangers defeated Foxhall 5-2 with a Danny Horner hat-trick. Joseph Howarth and Ryan Boothman scored the other two.
Another end-to end game saw No3 Pub defeat AFC Broadwaters 6-2, while Marton overcame AMS Car Care 3-0 and Check Elec played out a 1-1 draw with AFC Jacinta.
Division two also brought entertaining matches with lots of goals and results were as follows: West Coast Sports 4 Marton Athletic 3, Fleetwood Gym 5 Ciao Ciao 4, Highlands 3 H&A Club 2, 21st Century 3 New Philly 2, Clifton Rangers 4 FC Rangers 6.
