Frustrating night for AFC Fylde
All four of Dave Challinor’s summer signings starred in the first period as both teams mixed youth and experience.
Last season’s U18 Player of the Season John Priestner, performed solidly at left-back, as did Isaac Kusaloka partnering new striker James Dean up front in the first period.

In the second half, Paul Jarvis was the star man on the left wing.
Challinor was becoming increasingly frustrated as Ricardo Egidi and Mike Galliers squandered chances.
Jarvis fired a free-kick inches wide from 25 yards on the hour mark but the best chance of the match came from Harry Winter with 15 minutes left.
