The Gazette's Fleetwood Town reporter Rosie Swarbrick analyses the performances of the players from the 4-0 defeat at Leicester.
Fleetwood crashed out of the League Cup in the second round at Premier League side Leicester City's King Power Stadium.
It was the first time Joey Barton's side have reached that stage of the competition and the Town boss made 11 changes from their last League One game, Saturday's 0-0 draw with Charlton.
Paul Jones 5
That double save at the end of the first half was the highlight of a debut he will not write home about.
Gethin Jones 5.5
Back in at right back to push Coyle for the shirt but the Leeds loan man will have a sound night’s sleep.
Tommy Spurr 5
Did not do his case for a league return much good.
Cian Bolger 5
Same as Spurr, not pushing his case to usurp either Morgan or Eastham.
Joe Maguire 5
Again, Husband is not in any danger of losing his spot. A forgettable performance.
Kyle Dempsey 5
On this stage you would expect more from him, given his seniority and ability.
Nathan Sheron 5
Perhaps overawed by the occasion but still attempted to play. Did not do his cause for more first-team action any harm.
Harrison Biggins 6
Probably Fleetwood’s best player, one of the only ones to put themselves in contention for Saturday.
Bobby Grant 5
Did not really get a sniff and looked out of his depth at times.
Conor McAleny 5.5
Probably the brightest spark in attack for Town. Had the ball in the net and fired wide in the second half.
Chris Long 5
Did not use his starting opportunity, slow with one opportunity to fuel a counter-attack.
Subs: Madden on for Long 61 - 6
Did provide some more spark up front for Fleetwood
Hill on for Maguire 61 - 6
The 16-year-old U18 captain impressed with his calmness, thrown in at the deep end and did more than swim.
Wallace on for Grant 67 - 6
Finally got his debut, a few neat touches.
