The 41-year-old worked with Grayson at Blackpool in the same role so it will be easy enough for the pair to pick up where they left off.

The former Blackburn Rovers midfielder was recently seen helping out the coaching staff at Wigan Athletic as he waited for a role back in the game.

Dunn had a playing career that spanned 18 years, playing 300 times for Blackburn Rovers, with a spell at Birmingham City in between, before ending his career at Oldham.
