The Cod Army are planning to begin with a capacity of 600, with those selected for the game done so at random from Onward Card holders.

The limitations are not just due to the overall capacity of the ground, but also the size of concourses.

Precautions are being put in place all around the site and spectators must be able to pass each other at a safe distance.

There must be enough entrances and exits, as well as enough space when in the stands watching the action.

Fleetwood have asked fans to fill out a form on their website in order to outline their interest in attending the game.

The ballot remains open until 12pm on September 21, with e-tickets to follow for those who are successful.

There will also be 150 tickets available from the club’s ticket office for those who do not receive one in the ballot, available from 9am on September 24.

There is still a chance the request could be rejected by the EFL, while it is also subject to local lockdown measures.

Should they change around the Fylde coast, so could the plans to reintroduce fans.

Town also believe that the return of all onward card holders is still on course for the October 10 match with Hull City.

From then it is expected all home games will have fans in attendance, with the club eager to have as many of the Cod Army faithful as possible when it is safe to do so.
