Fleetwood Town 2016/17 fixtures at a glance

Fleetwood Town will start the new League One campaign at Northampton Town on August 6 and finish the season at home to Port Vale on April 30.

Town first league home game on August 13 will see former boss Graham Alexander make his first return to the club since he was sacked in September 2015.

Steven Pressley’s men host Bury on Boxing Day and Oldham travel to Highbury on New Year’s Eve.

This season’s climax to the English Football League will be split over two weekends.

The final matches in League One will be played on Sunday April 30 at 12pm.

The following Saturday will see League Two clubs finish their campaign, with the Championship then taking centre stage for the final set of matches on Sunday 7 May at 12pm.

Clubs now have a 10-day period to request any changes to kick-off times and minor day changes such as to Friday night or Sunday.
