Fleetwood Town hope the dual loan signing of David Henen and Tariqe Fosu will boost their attacking threat.
Henen is a 21-year-old Belgian striker who has signed a one-month deal from Everton. He is yet to make his debut for the Goodison club but has impressed for their U21s.
Fosu, 20, signed a two-year-deal with Reading in the summer and has moved to Highbury until January.
The London-born attacking midfielder has not featured this season, having made his Royals debut on the final day of the last campaign.
Steven Pressley has had plenty to say about Town’s failings in front of goal and the manager hopes his double swoop will add to his side’s cutting edge.
The manager said: “Tariqe is a player who can carry the ball and has great speed. He can turn defence into attack and can eliminate players. We need that type of player in the group just now.
“Everton feel the time is right for David to come on loan. It’s really good business for us, even though it is only for a short period.”
