A firm foundation to build on for Rosler
Town’s busy summer has seen the recruitment of Kyle Dempsey, Conor McAleny, Harvey Rodgers, development squad duo Michael Donohue and Harrison Biggins, as well as loan signings Lewie Coyle, Jordy Hiwula, Baily Cargill and Aiden O’Neill.
The club is in a position of strength, with wing-back Bell the only first-team player who will be out of contract at the end of this season.

Head coach Rosler said: “We know every player for next year, apart from Amari’i Bell, is secure. I think that is a massive improvement for us as a football club.”
It’s a big boost for Rosler in his bid to make more long-term plans for the club.
He explained: “That excited me because it means I do not need to build a team each year. We can continuously build with the foundation we have in place.”

Cole has netted four times in his last three games but stayed at Town despite a flurry of late bids from the Championship club on transfer deadline day.
The 22-year-old forward is now preparing for Fleetwood’s next League One game against Oldham on Saturday, with Town’s players refreshed and refocused by a blank weekend which followed the postponement of their scheduled trip to Blackburn (now October 31).
It is anticipated that Rosler will reveal his targets for the campaign now he knows the players at his disposal – at least until January, when the Blades could make another raid for Cole.

“The target (for this season) will be decided after the window closes.”
