In addition to their prizemoney, the Warton-based club have now received a cash windfall of £11,313 for winning win through to the first round proper.

The reward comes from the FA Cup Pool scheme, whereby every club that hosts a replay from the first round onwards pays five per cent of the gate receipts into a kitty to be distributed among the 32 non-league clubs which won through the four qualifying rounds.

The Coasters have the likes of Premier League sides Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea to thank for their cash boost as those three hosted FA Cup replays last season, which is why the total in the Pool pot was the highest ever.

Fylde also earned £27,500 in prize money from the cup campaign which ended with a first round defeat by Accrington Stanley.

The price they paid in return was a lengthy backlog of league fixtures.

The money will come in useful for Fylde as they look to learn from their play-off defeat on penalties to Hednesford Town and win promotion from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier to the Conference North at the second time of asking next season.
