And there will be an extra reason for staying at home that evening.

At 9pm Radio Five Live will be giving over a 90-minute slot dedicated to an extensive interview by Jimmy Armfield to Mark Pougatch.

Armfield has always been one of the most engaging and popular of radio communicators and he will talk about his life in football, not just his one-club career with Blackpool, but also as captain of England and more besides, such as management at Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United and the part he played in headhunting England managers.

Checkatrade Trophy v Armfield? No contest!
