Boss Bowyer's reaction to Blackpool's 1-1 draw at Barnet
Bowyer rued his side’s missed opportunities after Cullen’s 23rd minute opener was cancelled out by John Akinde pwho opped up with an injury time leveller.
And the ‘Pool boss, who took over the reins in the summer, says his men need to start killing off games at one end and shut up shop at the other.
He said: “We scored a wonderful goal.

“I think there are one or two headache tablets being issued now because the back four and the two centre midfielders in front of them had to deal with a lot of balls into the box.
“But that is their job, that is what they are expected to do and paid to do.
“We did have opportunities but it is those fine margins at the moment.

“That is something we need to work on but in terms of the progress we have made so quickly in the last six-seven weeks I’m pleased with the performance but we’ve just got to do better at those fine margins now.”
Bowyer says goalscorer Cullen just suffered cramp as he was brought off with 10 minutes to go.
Colin Daniel also had to come off due to a knee knock and Kyle Vassell missed the game due to a recurrence of the hip knock he picked up in the opening game against Exeter.
