Blackpool will head to former player Brabin's Tranmere side in pre-season

Blackpool have arranged a pre-season friendly with ex-Pool player Gary Brabin's National League side Tranmere Rovers.

Gary Bowyer’s men will head to Prenton Park on Tuesday July 26 (7.45pm kick-off) to take on ex-midfielder Brabin’s Rovers side.

Brabin spent three years at Bloomfield Road after joining from Bury in 1996 and is currently in his fourth managerial role after spells at Cambridge United, Luton Town and two spells at Southport.

The away game is sandwiched between Blackpool’s home game with Bowyer’s old club Blackburn Rovers on Saturday July 23 (3pm kick-off) and a home fixture against League One club Bury on Saturday July 30 (3pm kick-off).

Those three games are the only three pre-season fixtures the club has announced so far and admission prices will be revealed by the club in due course.
