The 24-year-old forward is Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer’s 13th signing of the summer and joins the club for an initial fee of £35,000, which could potentially rise to £50,000.

The Shrewsbury born attacker has agreed a two-year contract at Bloomfield Road, with the club holding an option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.

Quigley, a winner of every major Welsh trophy in his time with TNS, has found the net on 32 occasions for the club but says now is the time to make the leap into the English system as he joins Bowyer’s League One side.

Quigley said: “I’m really happy to be here and I’m looking forward to a new challenge. I’m just eager to get going and start training.

“I’m 24 now and it’s about time I made the step in to the English system. I’m glad to have this opportunity to prove myself.”

Quigley has won four Welsh Premier League titles with TNS and also picked up considerable experience in UEFA Champions League qualifiers for the Welsh club, scoring three goals in the preliminary rounds of this season’s competition.

Manager Gary Bowyer says the striker fits in with the model he is trying to develop at the club.

He said: “He’s a young, powerful forward who fits in with the model we’re trying to develop at the club. He’s good with both feet, has played and scored in Champions League qualifiers and is now hungry to work hard and make the breakthrough in English football.”

The deal for Quigley, which is subject to international clearance being received, also contains a sell on clause.
