Blackpool manager Gary Bowyer gave a glowing tribute to the club's fans for the support they gave both him and his players during yesterday's stalemate at Wycombe Wanderers.
There were 459 Blackpool fans who made the long trip to Adams Park to see the Seasiders begin the new season with a 0-0 draw.
The Pool boss was greeted by a chorus of "Gary Bowyer's tangerine army" when he went over to applaud the away supporters before kick-off.
When asked how much the support means to him, Bowyer said: “Of course it means a lot.
“Before the game they were very good and they always have been, they’ve always been supportive of both myself and the team.
“They continue to back us and you see how much they care for the club and they’ve always done that in my two years. They’re passionate about their football club.”
