Emmerson Boyce is training with Blackpool and could play in tomorrow’s friendly at Morecambe.
The 35-year-old recently left Wigan Athletic after nine years at the club which saw him play almost 300 league games.
It’s rumoured Boyce turned down the chance of a pay-as-you-play deal at the DW Stadium to search for a new club, he this morning trained with Blackpool’s squad at their Squires Gate training ground.
Boss Neil McDonald would see the Barbados international as the experience he feels his squad is currently missing ahead of life in League One.
After joining Wigan from Crystal Palace for £1,000,000 in 2006, Boyce went onto captain the club to victory over Manchester City in the 2013 FA Cup final.
