Elliot Lee has mocked claims by boss Neil McDonald that he would rather ‘be with his mum and dad’ than playing for Blackpool.

McDonald was critical of the youngster’s decision to return to his parents club rather than stay at Bloomfield Road.

While we are yet to hear an official response from the 21-year-old, Lee tweeted ‘Laughable’ soon after McDonald’s quotes were published, seemingly aimed at the Blackpool boss.

He followed it up with another tweet which read: “Great day at training! Looking forward to going home and seeing my Mummy and Daddy,”

Lee played four times for Pool, failing to score in any of his appearances.
