The Seasiders have gone 10 games unbeaten in the league, and have rocketed up the table as a result.
A massive 3-1 win over Peterborough United on Tuesday night only served to reinforce their credentials as serious promotion contenders, and they are now sixth in the table with 12 left to play and games in hand on many of the sides above them.
But where do the experts think Blackpool will finish this term, and who are they tipping for promotion to the Championship?
Scroll down and click through the pages as we see where their unique formula is predicting Blackpool to finish come the end of the 2020/21 campaign:
1. 24th - Bristol Rovers
The Gas lost to Swindon Town in midweek to further compound their relegation woes, and aren't being tipped to pull up any trees in the final months of the campaign. They recently sacked Paul Tisdale (above), so can new appointment Joey Barton secure survival? The experts don't think so. Predicted points total: 42 Photo: Dan Mullan
2. 23rd - Rochdale
A side who have taken points from the Black Cats this term, Brian Barry-Murphy's side are being tipped to finish in the bottom four after some shaky results in recent weeks. Predicted points total: 43 Photo: Justin Setterfield
3. 22nd - Wigan Athletic
Even after a points deduction, the experts were still tipping Wigan to stay up for much of the season but now believe they won't be able to retain their League One status - despite a Bahraini takeover lifting the mood. Predicted points total: 44 Photo: Alex Livesey
4. 20th - AFC Wimbledon
The Dons dismissed manager Glyn Hodges as they look to climb away from relegation danger. And the experts believe that move will pay off - with Wimbledon narrowly tipped to avoid the drop. Predicted points total: 44 Photo: Justin Setterfield
5. 20th - Northampton Town
The Cobblers recently parted company with Keith Curle (above) in a bid to get themselves out of relegation dangers, and experts think they'll just be able to keep their heads above water this term after Tuesday's win over Oxford United. Predicted points total: 44 Photo: Pete Norton
6. 19th - Swindon Town
The Robins currently sit just above the bottom four, but aren't being tipped to drop into the danger zone before the season is out - despite some indifferent form of late. Predicted points total: 48 Photo: Alex Davidson
