TEAM NEWS: Seasiders unchanged for visit to Gillingham

Bowyer keeps faith with Kyle Vassell in attack

Blackpool manager Gary Bowyer has opted to name an unchanged side for today's trip to Gillingham.

It means Bowyer keeps faith with Kyle Vassell in attack, despite Armand Gnanduillet scoring in his last two matches - the last of which came in Pool's dramatic comeback win against Fleetwood Town last week.

Kelvin Mellor and Jim McAlister return to the bench after long-term absences through injury.

The likes of Callum Cooke, Danny Philliskirk and Dan Agyei are not included in the squad.

Blackpool go into today's game looking to pick up a fourth consecutive win for the first time since the 2009/10 promotion winning season.

The Seasiders will also mathematically confirm their League One status for next season with a win. However, this will also be achieved if Rochdale lost to Bradford City.

The Gills come into today's game on the back of a miserable run of form which has seen them win just one of their last 11 games.

It sees Steve Lovell's side sit 16th in the table, six points clear of the bottom four.
