Nathan Delfouneso returns to the starting line-up having missed last weekend's 1-1 draw at home to Southend United through concussion.

That came after the forward was rushed to hospital following a nasty clash of heads in the 1-0 win against Charlton Athletic.

He was given the all-clear on the same night, but had to miss the Southend game due to concussion protocol.

Longstaff is the player to make way, with the on-loan Newcastle United midfielder dropping to the bench.

It means Danny Philliskirk is likely to play in a number 10 role behind Kyle Vassell, with Delfouneso playing out on the wing.

Christoffer Mafoumbi is on international duty with Congo and is replaced by Ben Williams on the bench.

MK Dons come into today’s game on the back of two straight victories against Rotherham United and Bury respectively.

It has given them hope of survival as they now sit two points adrift of safety, despite remaining in the bottom four.

Blackpool, meanwhile, are 15th in the league table and six points clear of the bottom four.
